Sparse Evidence of Influenza C on US Dairy and Beef Cattle Farms

In a letter to the editor, Guerra Jr. et al. (2025) found that "In the present study of Southern US cattle, the influenza C [ICV] prevalence is found to be 0.2%, marking a significant shift. One positive ICV sample from a Texas bovine nasal specimen demonstrated a mixing event between human and bovine ICVs."
