Herd-level prevalence of bovine leukemia virus, Salmonella Dublin and Neospora caninum in Alberta, Canada, dairy herds using ELISA on bulk tank milk samples

Share:

PREPRINT

Study of bulk tank milk samples from 495 Albertan farms to estimate in-herd prevalences of Bovine leukemia virus (BLV), Salmonella Dublin and Neospora caninum using ELISA. Sampling occurred 4 times: December 2021, April, July, and October 2022. The study used a mixed-effect model to examine associations between prevalence and region, herd size, herd type, and milking system.
