Held annually between 1946 and 2019, the INKY conference sought to increase knowledge and awareness of zoonotic disease within medical and public health communities. Meetings are multidisciplinary, including presentations on viral, ricketssial, bacterial, parasitic, and prion-related diseases acquired from natural sources, including animals (wild or domestic), contaminated water or food supplies, arthropod vectors and other sources.
