2025 John Waters Zoonotic Diseases (JWZD) Workshop

Named after Dr. John Waters, a former Chief Provincial Officer of Public Health, the JWZD workshop is hosted every 2-3 years and is a cross-sectoral event that brings together professionals across multiple disciplines for presentations and discussion of current and emerging trends being seen in zoonotic diseases across the province. 

Workshop Highlights:
  • Low registration fee (less than $100)
  • CPD credits for veterinary professionals
  • CMD credits for CPSA members (pending)
  • Networking opportunities to meet with colleagues in different sectors
  • Includes refreshments, coffee breaks and lunch
