Manitoba Small Poultry Flock Avian Influenza Program
Share:
"Free veterinary examination of dead and live birds submitted by small flock owners (<1000 birds) to the province’s veterinary laboratory. The focus is on detecting the arrival of Asian strains of avian influenza in Manitoba but owners will get information regarding any disease problems diagnosed in the birds. Testing includes necropsy, histopathology, PCR testing for Avian Influenza A Virus (AIV) and Infectious Laryngotracheitis Virus (ILTV). "
