Influenza D virus in bovine respiratory disease in western Canada

There is increasing evidence that Influenza D virus is associated with some Bovine Respiratory Disease. During 2020-2021, all bovine samples submitted to Prairie Diagnostic Services for the respiratory PCR panel will also be assayed for Influenza D virus at no extra charge.
